He wakes up wounded, alone and trapped in the attic of Mrs. Eloinen (Loretta Devine), who claims to be able to bring her back to health with Boogity, the Hoodoo character she has made from her blood and skin. The Marquis cannot call for help, but desperately tries to narrow himself and get rid of his dark magic and save his family from an ominous ritual before the blood moon grows.
